This was a very good episode in all honesty, I've been waiting ages to actually see this animated, for Kid & Law DF, and they really angered Big Mom she even said she hasn't felt pain in decades lol. So meanwhile Yamato still racing towards the basement room to stop the explosive. Big Mom became so angry that she even took out her own soul and ate and became even bigger, guess she's serious now, funny thing is she still remembers the red bean soup from Udon and used it in Soul Pocus lol.

be funny if they actually presented her with the soup and she ends up just slightly recovered instead.

Law was struggling against Doflamingo, but grown strong enough to fight against Big Mom now. I mean I read on reddit in One Piece time from Dressrosa to Wano was probably just 1 month. How crazy it would be to grow so fast especially he doesn't seems to have time to train for all the time he spend to strategize

To be fair, Law struggled against Doffy mostly because of all of his tragic backstory coming back at once, so there are very few parts of the fight where he was at full strategizing power
But yeah, that's a lot of improvement in one month

there's also the fact that doffy knows his powers and know that speed is a good counter and dodging while big moms just taking all the attacks

It's less that Law improved overall, and more him dumping all his stat points into attack power between then and now. Cause if you think about it, even with this new attack he'd still get clapped by Doffy because he'd never land it.

Lets get one thing clear here guys, Law is the only one that actually damages BigMom, no matter what you see, Kid CAN'T damage her, its been confirmed in the manga, Law in the only one that can damage her because his awakened devil fruit can ignore defenses... in the end they wont even defeat her, they'll just push her out of the floating island and she will be hit by the explosives that will fall with her, to this day its not been confirmed if shes dead or alive in the manga... wano arc is a testment of a Yonko's power, let not forget that kaido fough dozens of enemies before Luffy while carrying the island with his powers, and Luffy will lose one more time before getting awakened and defeating Kaido with Gear 5...

thats not necessarily true Kid breaks big moms ribs with his magnetic bull, she is just able to heal it by taking the souls back from the homies, Kid is able to damage her she is just able to heal from the damage.

In Chapter 1038 Law stabs Big Moms arm breaking her arm, while Kidd rams Big Mom from the front breaking her ribs. It is improbable for Law to have broken Big Moms arm with his attack because he stabs through her arm and head, and the shockwaves surround his sword. Which is why it is more likely that Kidd was the one who broke her ribs with his bull. She is just more cautious of Law in chapter 1039 because he did do more damage, but it's not like Kidd didn't do anything

just another kid overestimating kaido and bigmom way too much...yes, they lost way too easily in the end, because they are rushing things now ridiculously. kid already did damage her multiple times and will do so more too later. its not just pushing her away, she was pretty much defeated, otherwise she would have used one of her fires or cloud to carry her but she was too weak even to control them. yes we dont know if theyre dead or alive, but both could have avoided the lava, if they had any strength left. as for luffy, no he didnt really lose because someone interfered, but that led to his awakening after all. kaido didnt fight a dozens of enemies, it was just small fries who could barely scratch him. luffy vs kaido was still ridiculous because after all the hype given to kaido, their fight should have gone much longer, even after luffys awakening, but it was just luffy fooling around afterwards a bit and never really given kaido any serious damage and he still lost. plotwise they fkd up hard in this arc, let alone the terrible animations and drawings, they are rushing things way too much now with the fights, but still add way too much fillers in each episode.

newest manga once again showed that shanks is on a whole different level than both kaido and bigmom, as it was shown and stated in the past too, but its no surprise that there are too many dmb kids who cant handle facts. when there is a title like strongest creature etc, yall ride on that title like the most childish fktrds and ignore every single fact, that showed otherwise. same with whitebeards title of the strongest man, but story told us that there was still at least one person stronger than him who was still alive. same with the admirals who are nothing against the yonkos, which was once again shown in the end of this arc clearly once more, when ryokugo run away after just feeling shanks's haki.

i think big mom still alive since Zeus shows up in the manga after the wano arc

Im sure she is but you gotta remember that Zeus technically "died" but he was able fuse with the Tact and I believe all her homies have a set lifespan so even if she passed im pretty sure the homies would be active.

Once the devil fruit user dies their powers go away, take sugar for example when she fainted her powers reverted if just fainting will undo it then dying will definitely undo the powers and most importantly zeus is still made from big mom's own soul if she is dead then so is her soul

And as for Prometheus who was still alive after the previous owner died its because big mom inherited her powers!

Why is most people just complaining about the length until G5? This was a good episode, and I've been waiting for this chapter a long time as well. I get that there's a lot of hype around gear 5 (i also cant wait for it), and also that recently a lot of the episodes have been hella boring n terrible, but along the way you gotta enjoy a good episode when they release one.

I completely agree! This episode was nice

I think it's the overall pacing of OP is the thing that really pisses people off. I actually think the best moments of the recent episodes were fights that were concluded like Robin vs Black Maria which was an amazing fight imo. Currently we're just jumping from one fight to another without any real resolution to any of them.

I think the hype fo G5 is because that's at least something more exciting. I do hope the next episodes will just focus around Zoro's and Sanji's fights with King and Queen.

I like how, I think it's the first time, someone other than the main crew gets to appear on the images at the break in the middle of the episode

painstaking flashbacks n filler in the middle of episodes, usually around half of the stuff in the anime don't happen in the manga or drawn out for wayyy too long.

we still got 14 more episodes till G5, the wait is torture.

It's like you forget one piece is an entire story, not just something leading up to Gear 5. Its like some persons some can't appreciate the entire story anymore. If you wanna see Gear 5 so bad go read the manga, its already shown up twice.

yes one piece is a story... but it's being told at 0.25x speed. remember when Jinbei fought the tiger? 1 episode and the fight was done. Queen vs Sanji and the fight is still going 10 episodes later. it's like watching an old school JRPG.

It's hillarious seeing Kid fight against Big Mom right now, as in the latest manga chapter (from last week) he and his crew got 1 shoted by Shanks..

I want to see more of Kid, Law and Luffy together even if it's for comic relief so I hope they survived somehow... still, Shanks is the GOAT from the previous Yonko and he's not going down that easily to the new generation -I know he is also the youngest among those four- but I really want to see them alive some more -I don't want Shanks to die because of Blackbeard-

Even with their awakening big mom is too tough. But I think atleast they were able reduce gap of power. Also kid's Awakening has a real potential. Cause at the end of the day, Earth is giant magnet. His power could be really OP.
